CfLAT provides a variety of professional learning opportunities, including two pathways that lead to Higher Education Academy (HEA) Fellowship and Certified Membership of the Association for Learning Technology (CMALT):

Ako Aronui

Ako Aronui is a holistic professional learning programme, specific to the AUT and Aotearoa New Zealand University context. It also provides a contextualised pathway to HEA fellowship.

CMALT cMOOCs and Mosomelt

The CMALT cMOOCs and Mosomelt are models of Professional Development that facilitate a network of communities of practice supported by connectivist MOOCs, and can lead to recognition via CMALT accreditation.

SoTEL Research Clusters

SoTEL (Scholarship of Technology Enhanced Learning) research cluster will critically explore the impact of new technologies upon teaching and learning, and will provide professional development and support for establishing clusters.

Events and Workshops

CfLAT also offers as needed workshops, one-off events and seminars, including hosting visiting academics and scholars.
