ePortfolio and ORCID Bootcamp
July 1 - July 4
The eportfolio and ORCID bootcamp will introduce participants to the Open Researcher and Contributor Identity (ORCID) and guide them in establishing their own ORCID eportfolio during the bootcamp week. The goal of the bootcamp is to enable participants to begin critical engagement with the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning through establishing a reflective practice research eportfolio via ORCID – which is becoming increasingly accepted as the default research profile for journals as well as institutional research databases such as Research-Elements. ORCID (https://orcid.org/) facilitates import and export of research data and researcher profiles between an ORCID profile, Scopus author ID, ResearcherID, and Publons (https://publons.com/home/) (a repository of peer review records), creating an independent consolidated research profile.
